What can the "Electronic Court" offer?

Thanks to the introduction of "e-court" trial participants can significantly save their time for submitting documents or obtain court information.

We draw your attention to the fact that some mechanisms of the new electronic system already operate in Ukrainian courts, including:

- online court fees

- obtaining information about the stages of passing the case in court through the official web-portal "Judiciary of Ukraine",

- the receipt of judicial summons by SMS-informing (after registration);

- to receive copies of court decisions by e-mail.

In addition, all Internet users have access to court rulings through the Unified State Registry of Judgments, and in court process participants, the possibility of holding court sessions in video conferencing.

Each of the courts of the country has its own web-site on the official portal "Judicial Power of Ukraine" (http://court.gov.ua/), with information about the address and phone numbers, the list of judges, the structure of the apparatus, regulatory documents, news and events, etc.

Here you can quickly find the necessary case, find out the place, date and time of the trial in the "List of cases for review".

The orders of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine also launched of a pilot exchange of electronic documents between the court and participants in the trial. Fom June this year there are Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal, Odessa Regional Court of Appeal, Kyiv District Court of Odessa, Odessa Commercial Court of Appeal, Odessa Commercial Court, Vinnytsia Administrative Court of Appeal, Vinnytsya District Administrative Court, Donetsk Administrative Court of Appeal, Goloseevsky , Darnytsky, Desniansky, Dniprovsky, Obolonsky, Pechersky, Podolsky, Svyatoshinsky, Solomensky, Shevchenkivsky District Courts of Kyiv among such courts .

In separate courts, procedural documents in electronic form can be sent to the participants of the trial only after their registration in the system of exchange of electronic documents between the court and participants in the court proceedings, criminal proceedings on the official web portal "Judicial power of Ukraine" (provided by the Provisional Rules for sending electronic court documents to the participants in the trial, criminal proceedings, approved by the order of the SJA of Ukraine of November 07, 2016, No. 227).

We also draw attention to the fact that the written application of citizens to the court may be sent using the Internet, electronic means (this right is enshrined in Article 5 of the Law "On Citizens' Appeal").

We remind you that, in accordance with the new procedural law, the Single Judicial Information and Telecommunication System (SJITS) will be introduced soon in the courts. This system will ensure the full exchange of documents electronically between the courts, between the court and the participants in the process, between the participants in the trial, recording the trial, participating in the court session in the video conferencing regime. The SJITS should be launched in 90 days after the publication of the SJA in the Voice of Ukraine and the web portal of the judiciary on the creation and maintenance of the Single Judicial Information and Telecommunication System (the recommended starting date is January 1, 2019).

The separate legal basis and the procedure for using the "electronic court" for the transitional period (prior to the introduction of the SJITS) is determined by the Regulation on the automated system of document circulation of the court, approved in the wording of the decision of the Council of Judges of Ukraine dated April 12, 2018, No. 16.
