"The OSCE has confirmed the data of our intelligence and found upgraded means and reactive systems "Grad" in the region of Lugansk; artillery quantity increased; tanks that were recorded by satellite images of our NATO Allies were not allocated; the quantity of military presence of the Russian Federation in the Sea of Azov has not been reduced. Unfortunately, the number of personnel is not reserved ", - Petro Poroshenko stated.
At the same time, the Head of State drew attention to the fact that "the defensive capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other units of the defense and security sector are nowin a completely different dimension".
According to him, a great deal of redistribution work has been done, from shortening the terms of combat coordination, from completing to the expense of the first-stage reserves, from supplying newly-formed armaments and modernized armaments and military equipment.
The President instructed to inform about the relevant updates Ukrainian society. In addition, he ordered the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the Chief of General Staff, the Minister of Internal Affairs to inform in detail about what was done during this period and how much our opportunities are now increasing.
The President also appealed to the heads of regional state administrations located in close proximity to the border with the Russian Federation, and thanked for the work done and told to inform the extent to which opportunities for the appropriate response have increased.
"We are talking not only about the protection of territorial integrity, not only about the defense of every piece of Ukrainian land, we are talking about the security of people. And the main requirement for the President as the Supreme Commander, the Government, the Armed Forces, the police, the border guards, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, is a key position to protect people" Petro Poroshenko said.
